THE ESSENCE OF RIBHU GITA

Om Namo Bhagavate Sri Ramanaya
THE ESSENCE OF RIBHU GITA
Benedictory verses
To Siva
1. Salutations to the Supreme Lord Siva, the pure Awareness…
in the sky of consciousness in the Heart, by meditation on whom,
Ganesa, Guha, Mother-Sakti who is the embodiment of Siva’s
Grace, and myriads of Devas, saints and devotees have attained
their cherished goals. (Chapter 1, Verse 1).
To Nataraja
2. From the sky of consciousness of the Heart springs
forth the dancer Nataraja with his blissful consort Freedom,
to the delectation of his devotees who are thus liberated forever.
Unto that Ananda Natesa do we render our devout salutations.
(Ch.1, v.2)
To Ardhanareeswara
3. Unto that Form whose left half is the Mother of all
manifestation and whose right half is the Father of the same,
the jingle of the gems enclosed within the hollow golden anklet
of whose foot is the source of all scriptures, and whose three
eyes (Fire, Sun and Moon) are the illuminants of the universe,
to that Form be our devout salutations. May that divine Form
ever be our protection. (Ch.1, v.3)

T eachers and scriptures can stimulate spiritual awareness. But the wise disciple crosses the ocean of ignorance by direct illumination, through the grace of God.
Gain experience directly. Realize God for yourself. Know the Self as the one indivisible Being, and become perfect. Free your mind from all distractions and dwell in the consciousness of the Self.
This is the final declaration of the Vedanta: Brahman is all; [It is] this universe and every creature. To be liberated is to live in the continual awareness of Brahman, the undivided Reality.

Robert Adams, T163: Silence Is The Ultimate Reality

Robert Adams, T163: Silence Is The Ultimate Reality

Where there is noise, there’s death. Where there is silence, there’s life. True silence doesn’t mean just to keep quiet. True silence really means when you go deep, deep within yourself to that place where nothing is happening, where you transcend time and space, and you go into a brand new dimension of nothingness. That’s where all the power is. That’s your real home. That’s where you really belong, in deep silence, where there’s no good and bad, no right and wrong, nobody trying to become enlightened or self-realized, no one trying to achieve anything. Just being. Pure being. Not being this, or that, or something else, just being. Not even being your self, for there is really no self to become. I won’t even say that you are the self already, because in reality there is no self at all. Those are more words to try to explain what God is, what pure awareness is, what absolute reality is. We call this the self. But what are these words to you? What do they mean to you? They’re even in your way. You have to get to the point where you stop using so many words.

🕉 Discourse and Dialogue of Anandamayi Ma ❤

Question: People are asked to worship God, to sing His praise in hymns, to perform puja, to repeat constantly His name, and they do all this without knowing what God is. Will you please explain?Answer: God is all-knowledge, and one cannot know His true nature till one attains Self-Realisation. Then one will find Him to be none other than oneself, the only Atman, the only Self there is, and that He is with form as the world and without form as Chit, Pure Consciousness. In the meantime, prayers, worship and meditation have to be performed.
